CoCSoft Stream Down is a streaming media download tool. It supports not only HTTP, FTP download, but also streaming media downloan, such as RTSP, MMS, MMSU, MMST.
Stream Down downloads wmv files through the mms protocol correctly, with rm files through the rtsp protocol it shows wrong lenghts; pausing and continuing don't work always, but it accepts cgi-redirects.
It seems to be inspired on Net Transport from the mainland of China (yes), with much more possibilities and it is freeware, available from a mirror at http://www.softnews.ro/public/cat/10/5/10-5-30.shtml
This is the only program I know of that reports good rm lengths, has good pausing and continuing but accepts no cgi-redirects though (solution: save your video link first and look at the contents to see the redirected URL)
Ok I'm in love with this program. Imagine that I could download a rm file through a rtsp protocol in a protected site that did not even ask me for a password. COOOOOOOOLLL
